Bread Street Kitchen has definitely been mentioned a lot in the plant-based world after its creator and world renowned chef Gordon Ramsay's post on Veganuary a while back. Although Gordon Ramsay might not have been the biggest supporter of veganism in the past, he has since last year been quite active on offering new vegan options in their restaurants. From the more cryptic tweet last April on vegan pizza to a full on vegan menu for Veganuary this year with hearty beet wellington, and now the possibility of offering Impossible burger in their restaurant in Singapore, Gordon Ramsay has definitely stepped up his plant-based efforts at least so far as his restaurants are concerned! 

Equally true is for the Bread Street Kitchen in Hong Kong - this British fare in one of the most beautiful spots in Hong Kong - The Peak Galleria! It serves a British European menu, featuring classic dishes from its London counterpart with an alfresco terrace and a mix of vintage and modern design. 

This lovely restaurant has also kept vegans in their thoughts and is offering a full-fledged vegan menu with more than three choices each for starters, mains, sides and desserts! Spiced lentil soup, spinach salad, roast aubergine, curried chickpea with saffron rice, mixed grain salad with beetroot and hummus, falafel avocado and radish salad, harissa spiced cauliflower, peanut butter cake, pineapple carpaccio...the list just keeps going on and on! I am thoroughly impressed by the efforts that Bread Street Kitchen has put in to welcome vegans to their restaurant, and to provide more options generally to anyone interested in trying out some plant-based alternatives! My heartfelt gratitude to the Bread Street Kitchen team as well as the team behind Dining Concepts for being part of the SocialVegan family in making the dining scene in Hong Kong more vegan friendly!

The story behind Dining Concepts

Dining Concepts is a progressive organization specializing in the development of quality dining experiences throughout Hong Kong with additional diversified businesses associated with the hospitality industry.

Founded and driven by restaurant entrepreneur Sandeep Sekhri, the group was established in 2002 and now operates more than 30 high performance restaurants and bars with exciting projects under development, in addition to the associated businesses within the portfolio.

Dining Concepts own and operate our own restaurants and partner with international chefs to facilitate the development of their brands in Hong Kong. Since its inception, Dining Concepts has developed and managed many of Hong Kong’s most successful dining outlets.
